- When a infrastructure project need to be done the planning process is needed.
To inform but also to get input to the idea that´s suggested a consultation with the individual concerned is needed.
Consultation is the best way for individual concerned to comment the project. To consult with the concerned is essential for upcoming project. The people need to have an opportunity to get involved into the infrastructure project. If the individual concerned is badly informed it could lead to more appeal and a higher total cost.
If the Swedish infrastructure shall continue to develop in a good effective way, good comments are needed. During large projects the amount of individual concerned increases. People in a large crowd can easily affect each other and make the attitude more or less ruff.
In this report the new planning process is in conjunction with the earlier one. Interviews of consults and clients are made to see how they experience the changes of the planning process. Two observation studies have been made to see if the changing has led to a higher risk for group pressure based on a group dynamic theory. There is an existing group dynamic at a consultation; it appears both positive and negative.
The idea of the changing of the planning process is really good and could if used in the right way make the planning more effective.
The improvement of the planning process hasn’t been as good as expected. One problem could be that the knowledge of how to use the new planning process is missing. (Less)
