- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to examine how the school welfare officers practice and think of the obligation to report child maltreatment and neglect to the social services according to the Swedish Social Service Law. The aim of the study was also to examine how the school welfare officere view upon the cooperate with other school staff and with the social workers at the social services due to the obligation to report and how they administrate the report. The study was based on a qualitative research approachand and used semi-structured interviews with 8 school welfare officeres.
