Organisational collaboration among clients – a qualitative interview study about opportunities and obstacles in collaboration.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to, from a new institutional theory, examine how five different organisations cooperate with work rehabilitation to help individuals with complex difficulties reach employment or studies. The collaboration is more precisely called IST. More precisely the purpose was to investigate how personnel describe obstacles and opportunities in a cooperative organisation but also how their work logic is being received at the cooperative organisations. To fulfill the purpose of the essay we interviewed six personnel within the collaboration and took support in three more specific questions: What obstacles and opportunities are described within IST? How is the relation between IST and the different cooperative organisations being described? What obstacles and opportunities are described with the collaboration towards the cooperative organisations? The results show that the collaboration within IST is described as successful. Mainly because they strived to reach consensus. However the result shows difficulties gaining understanding and legitimacy from the cooperative organizations. (Less)
