- Abstract
- Internet of Things is commonly known as the next big thing in com- puter science. This thesis evaluates and shows the concept of Internet of Things using Microsoft Azure. The main goal was to exhibit the commer- cially purpose of the system to Combitech and other potential clients. The result of the implementation were a fusion of three different sensors that, combined with two microcontrollers, communicates with Azure IoT-hub. The data is then distributed to a feed via a cloud service that listen to the hub and merge the data to a feed for further distribution to depen- ding on what type of feed a rule engine or an actuator for visualization of the sensor data.
