- Abstract
- The aim of this study was to focus on how municipal social-workers work with honor related abuse (HRA) in a smaller community in Sweden. The purpose of the study was to study if there were any changes in how the municipal social-workers described their work with honor-related abuse today compared to the year of 2012. The theories and the perspectives used for this study include: the gender theory, the cultural pattern, and “accounts”. The results of the study shows how the municipal social workers described their work with HRA and that there were some changes in the way they described how they accomplished their work.
