The result showed that the young women experienced that they have not received sexual education in all mandatory subjects. Further investigation shows that the education they feel they have been offered in school, was in many cases heteronormative. They also experienced that they did not have a lot of knowledge about sexual orientation and heteronormativity and that they have received most of their information about sexual health in other places. All the participants would like to have more time and opportunities for discussions when receiving sexual education in school. (Less)
