This essay is written as a content analysis with three different themes, which are: Solutions for stress, the expert presented in the magazines and expectations on the female role. In our study we found that the magazines presents the women as the sex that has the biggest responsibility over the family and the children. The magazines show a focus on women’s appearance and how to improve their looks by different beauty tips and priority lists. We also discovered that women’s magazines often refer their information to what they call experts. (Less)
