本论文旨在研究中国报纸《人民日报 》 在大饥荒时期(1959-1961)所发表的 一 系列报道。大饥荒被认为是整个中国历史中最严重的饥荒，在此时期估约有超 过三千万人死于饥饿或由饥饿引起的疾病。本论文着重于研究人民日报于 1960 年发表的所有报道，旨在探讨《人民日报 》 对于大饥荒所进行的报道的及其内 容。本论文所使用的研究的方法为建立饥荒相关词语一览表并在《人民日报 》 网上数据库就此类词语进行搜索。最终将得到的结果进行筛选，找出并确定此 类报道 与饥荒的联系。
Abstract
This thesis is a study of the articles published in the Chinese newspaper 人民日报 Renmin Ribao, the People’s Daily, during the Great Chinese famine 1959-1961. The famine is considered to be the worst famine in the history of China and an estimated more than 30 million people died of starvation or illnesses brought about by starvation during these years. This thesis will be focusing on the articles published in People’s Daily during the year 1960, and the aim of the thesis is to find out what the newspaper published about the then on-going famine.
