In order to collect data surveys were distributed among social work students and law students at Lund university. The sampling method used in this study was convenience sample. The study results show a widespread openness towards immigration and minority groups among social work students and law students at Lund University. The study results also show that there are some correlations between variables – such as education level, gender and religious beliefs – and attitudes towards immigration and minority groups. Lastly, the study results are analysed and discussed based on group conflict theory and the nature of prejudice. (Less)
