The study uses a qualitative analysis of documents produced by the companies, particularly sustainability reports, to identify and compare the questions raised and the strategies used in their work with social sustainability. The analysis shows that all of the companies work with strategies aimed towards promoting social inclusion in their neighbourhoods, but that the public housing company Framtiden goes beyond this and also aims towards creating social equity between their different areas and in Gothenburg as a whole.
