- Abstract
This master thesis investigates how more
value can be created by digitally visualize
the saved data of GGzE (Mental Health
care Eindhoven). GGzE collects a lot of
data about their clients and they believe
that more value can be created from it.
The Dutch government, as well as the
European commission, is striving for more
e-health. By 2019 the Dutch government
wants 80% of the chronically ill patients
and 40 % of the rest of The Netherlands
to have direct access to their medical
data. Doing this will help the patients
with their healing process as they can
easily see if their data is correct, they can
easily communicate their data to others
but it will also help doctors to work more
efficiently. ... (More) - Abstract

At the moment the saved data of GGzE is
only accessible for therapists and not for
the clients themselves. This report
shows that there is a high demand from
the clients to have more insights and
control over their own data.
This to see if they came across correctly,
to view made agreements again or to
communicate with others.
Therefore this project is about creating
a client portal for GGzE, which has been
done in co-creation with the clients
themselves. In this way the voice of
the clients is represented and can be
communicated via the client platform
concept to the client portal project
manager of GGzE.
The outcome is an application for a
smart-phone wherein clients can view
all their saved data, they can see what is
happening with their files and they can
practice with this platform. The majority
voted for a smart-phone application as
they always have their phone with them
and are therefore free to view their data
and to work on their healing any time they
want, anywhere they want. (Less)
