(Less)

Theoretical perspectives: The study’s foundation is based on the transaction cost theory.
Empirical foundation: In the empirical data section, the case of the Construction Company and the Supplier is presented. First, the data related to how the relation was initially is presented, followed by how the relation is today. The intention is to account for how the relation has evolved, both in negative and positive aspects.
Conclusion: Personal relations that build on trust have both a negative and positive effect on transaction costs. However, in total, the personal relation leads to a decrease in transaction costs. (Less)
