Young dreams - Musik möter abstrakt rörlig bild

I mitt arbete har jag valt att studera kopplingen mellan musik och bildkonst. Min
upplevelse är att musik blir förstärkt av konsten och vice versa. Jag har skrivit
kompositioner som ska spelas till ljusfilmer av ljuskonstnären Åsa Wirling. Hon
kommer projicera filmer på en duk, samt på musikerna. Musik talar starkare till
mig genom bild och vad jag valt att studera är förhållandet mellan musik och
rörlig bild. Vilka svårigheter stöter man på i en sådan kreativ arbetsprocess?
Under processen har jag märkt att det är otroligt viktigt att i ett tidigt stadium
välja vem som anpassar sig till vem. I detta fall har Åsa tagit del av texter och
musik av mig, samt min beskrivning av känslorna kring kompositionerna. Detta

Den 30/5 håller jag min examenskonsert på inter Arts Center i Malmö. Då har
jag med mig en stråkkvartett och en jazzkvartett samt ljuskonst. (Less)

In the preparations for my degree concert, I have chosen to study the
connection between music and visual art. In my opinion, music becomes
stronger in collaboration with other art genres and vice versa. My original
compositions will be performed live, with abstract films made by the light artist,
Åsa Wirling, will be projected simultaneously behind and on the band. To me,
music speaks stronger through images in particular. Therefore my work with my
thesis is the connection between music and art. What are the difficulties I will
run into during my creative journey?
Throughout the process, I have come to learn how important it is to choose who
will adapt their art to whom. In this case, Åsa has read my lyrics, listened to my
