- Syftet med examensarbetet är att studera ledarskapet och ledarens roll i förändringsarbetet mot ett klimatneutralt byggande. I studien utreds vilka faktorer som driver förändringsarbetet mot ett klimatneutralt byggande och hur miljöarbetet kan bli mer attraktivt för anställda i svenska byggföretag.
Studien har utförts på ett fallföretag och ett av deras projekt i produktionsfasen. En kvalitativ metod har bedrivits då intervjuer utförts av utvalda anställda från projektet. Litteratur- och dokumentstudien utgör teorin och har inhämtats med hjälp av internet, vetenskapliga artiklar samt böcker.

För att göra klimatneutralt byggande mer attraktivt för anställda bör statistik angående miljöarbetet förmedlas kontinuerligt och belöningar uppskattas och bör inkludera alla då det har förtjänats. Dessutom skulle överblivet och fullt brukbart byggmaterial kunna säljas vidare till de anställda på företagen för att minimera slöseriet. (Less) - Abstract
- The purpose of this master thesis is to study the leadership and the roll of the leader during a change in the process towards a climate neutral construction process. The study is aiming to find factors which affects the change process towards a climate neutral construction process as well as how the environmental work can become more attractive in projects.

A qualitative method has been conducted whilst obtaining material through interviews with employees at the project. In order to make a climate neutral construction more attractive for the employees, statistics about the environmental work on site should be communicated continuously. Rewards are highly appreciated and should include all employees when handed out if earnt. Thirdly, the leftover yet fully usable material could be going through a second hand market and sold to the employees to reduce waste. (Less)
