In the analysis, the theory of sense of coherence (SOC) and stigma theory were used.
The study shows that the young mothers perceive the parent’s group in a positive way. The main reasons seem to be the possibility of social interactions and sharing of experiences and knowledge. A possible conclusion of the findings is that participating in a young parent group can indeed be a part of young mothers’ wellbeing and thriving health as it strengthens the sense of coherence (Less)
