Character strengths are positively valued traits that are predicted to contribute to the good life.
My research reflects how these concepts have been reconstructed within positive psychology
and how their meaning significantly differs in relation to Christian theology. Positive
psychology overshadows and neglects several important aspects and conditions of these

Christian theologians are required to take action and contribute with comprehensible and
accessible theological interpretations of gratitude, hope, and forgiveness. (Less)
