Despite many ideological similarities between the parties, there are vast differences between the parties’ climate policy ranging from rejecting climate policy completely to having very extensive climate policies. For most of the parties, there is a clear focus on market-based climate solutions as well as that other countries should pull the heaviest load with dealing with the climate crisis. There are several possible signs that party competition might be a contributing factor in the shaping of Nordic right-wing populist parties´ climate policy. Further research is although required to assert this fully even if it is probably the case. (Less)
