A way to decrease the family gap, and further the gender wage gap, could be the parental leave and its design. To investigate the relationship between the gender wage gap and paternity leave, panel data over 15 OECD members and a time period of 10 years (2006-2016) are used. The results differ from... (More)

To investigate the relationship between the gender wage gap and paternity leave, panel data over 15 OECD members and a time period of 10 years (2006-2016) are used. The results differ from previous research and show that an increase of paternity leave effects the gender wage gap negatively. However, the results from the second method lack significance which indicates a need for further research. (Less)
