Abstract
Background: 2020 many people speak of the ecological crisis, few people know what to do to contribute to ecological sustainability. Aim: The purpose of this study was to map the latest research on ecological sustainability and how occupational therapy can contribute by analyzing researchdata from 2013 and using Wagman's concepts: Adapt, Collaborate, Explore and Warn. Method: A literature review that included 13 articles was analyzed with a directed content analysis. The themes that formed the basis of the analysis were Adapt, Collaborate, Explore and Warn (Wagman, 2014). Inclusion criteria were scientific articles with ethical approval that dealt with the environment, sustainability or ecology and were published in English after 2013.... (More)

Results: In several studies the authors point towards the need for more education on the subject ecological sustainability to stop climate change. By integrating theory and practice, ecological sustainability can be implemented. Conclusion: This literature review showed that the four themes described by Wagman in 2014 can still be found in the latest studies on the subject of ecological sustainability. The subject of ecological sustainability is in need of more empirical studies. (Less)
