The aim of this study was to examine attitudes towards LGBTQ-people among social work students at Lund University in Sweden. The data was collected through a digital survey-method which was distributed by email to students of all semesters of the education program. 369 respondents participated. The vast majority of students had never observed any negative attitudes towards LGBTQ-people and the attitudes were shown to change over time. However, the social work education itself couldn’t be proven to have any distinctive influence on the change of attitudes. More research can be done to examine how... (More)
