Abstract
The thesis examines what makes a cross-organizational collaboration between a multinational company and an NGO successful, by revieweing what factors play an important role in a project's life cycle, from a corporate perspective. The thesis is based on project management theories within the subjects of international business and cross-organizational teams. A qualitative research strategy with semi-structured interviews and an abductive approach was conducted. The interviews were conducted with employees in a CSR-related managing position from three multinational companies.
