Abstract
The main objective of this study is to find out what kind of teaching material guitar teachers in upper secondary school use when teaching the subject ”Instrument eller sång 1” (Guitar), and what the underlying factors is for this. Four guitar teachers have told about which teaching materials they use and how these teaching materials are developed through qualitative interviews. The informants are professional guitar teachers at upper secondary schools in Skåne.

The study shows that the teaching material used is largely created by the teachers themselves. The teaching material the teachers create is in paper form or recorded sound, but usually in the form of a film that is created during the lesson. Using the film medium means that the... (More)
