- Abstract
- In Sweden, natural disasters have been occurring for many years and will continue to do so in the future. Not all types of natural disasters are possible in Sweden. This thesis will therefore focus on natural disaster that are more likely to occur in Sweden, based on previous incidents and predictions for the future, namely forest fire and floods. In this thesis, an investigation of municipal Fire and Rescue Services' handling of forest fires and floods has been conducted. The focus has been on how previous incidents have been handled and on proactive actions and preventive measures, such as education and resources. The study is divided into three parts, a statistical study, a literature study and an interview study. Conclusions were drawn... (More)

- Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
