Purpose: The aim of the study is to investigate factors that can affect the connection between corporate strategy and organizational structure. The focus is on performance measurement, dynamic capabilities, corporate culture and the role of middle managers in adapting to and creating strategic goals.
Method: The study was conducted with a qualitative case study and uses an abductive method where data collection took place through semi-structured interviews.
Theoretical perspectives: The study has been based on the relationship between strategy and structure where in-depth study has taken place with the help of theory in culture and leadership, goal management and capabilities.
Empirical foundation: The case study subject Telenor Sverige AB is a telecommunications provider that operates in a changing industry and is undergoing major change to adapt its working methods and structure to meet the changing needs of the industry.
Conclusion: The study shows that factors such as performance measurement, dynamic capabilities, the role of leaders and corporate culture affects the company's strategic decisions and adaptation. (Less)
