Metod: Studien har genomförts på ett abduktivt forskningssätt där data samlats in genom intervjuer.
Teoretiskt ramverk: Det teoretiska ramverket består av teorier som beskriver entreprenöriellt beteende och affärsmodeller.
Empiri: Datan som samlats in via samtal med intervjuobjekten har sammanfattats och presenterats baserat på transkriberingar av intervjuerna. Det empiriska materialet har delats in i entreprenöriella beteenden och artisters arbete med affärsmodeller utifrån de valda teorierna. Materialet har grundats utifrån erfarenheter som intervjuobjekten uttryckte under intervjuerna angående entreprenöriellt arbete inom musikindustrin.
Resultat: Resultatet i denna studie indikerar att entreprenöriellt beteende varierar mellan artister och att det i stor grad påverkar deras entreprenöriella arbete. Studien visar på att affärsmodeller anpassas efter varje artists unika förutsättningar och ambitioner. Det visas även att artisternas beteende har stor påverkan på hur deras affärsmodell utformas. Theoretical framework: The theoretical framework consists of theories that describe entrepreneurial behavior and business models.
Empirical foundation: The data collected via conversations with the interviewees have been summarized and presented based on transcripts of the interviews. The empirical material has been divided into entrepreneurial behaviors and business models based on the selected theories. The material has been based on experiences that the interviewees expressed during the interviews regarding entrepreneurial work in the music industry.
Conclusions: The results of this study indicate that entrepreneurial behavior varies between artists and that it greatly affects their entrepreneurial work. The study shows that business models are adapted to each artists' unique conditions and ambitions. It is also shown that the artists' behavior has a great influence on the design of their business models. (Less)
