The principal findings in this study are the lack of linking between the fields of gender equality and racism, visible in the policies in each field where coherency is lacking throughout the inequality work. Furthermore, the framing of policies is done in general terms and often based on the group membership that is socially constructed, neglecting the differences within the groups and between individuals' experiences. This leads to homogenization of groups, making the individual experiences within the group invisible and leading to excluding them in the respectively policies. (Less)
