- Abstract
- This study aims to analyze how social workers experience that working from home during a prevailing pandemic has affected their health and work environment. The method of this study was made with qualitative interviews where seven social workers from different municipalities in Sweden were interviewed. The results show both negative and positive effects of working from home. The risk that emerge for employees' mental health are feelings of emptiness. At the same time, positive factors such as reduced stress also emerge. In terms of motivation, both advantages and disadvantages of working from home are demonstrated.
