Qualitative content analysis and thematic analysis were applied for the analysis of different sources. In the findings, the values created in the observed partnerships are discussed and evaluated in a comparative manner. Findings were that the closer the business model is linked to the purpose of the partnership, the greater the value creation for both the company and the collaborating organisation. Interaction value was seen to be the most abundant value created within the collaborations with potential for synergistic value creation. In conclusion, companies' intentions in engaging with organisations are to achieve mutually beneficial value creation and to consider themselves global citizens regarding sustainability in the environment they engage in.
