Considering the advantages and disadvantages of CSR and the anti-corruption system, enforcing mandatory anti-bribery instruments across jurisdictions potentially improve CSR initiatives' enforcement capability on protection, respect, and remediation. At the same time, the voluntary approaches of CSR initiatives, especially on anti-corruption issues, could be used to support the transnational anti-bribery enforcement achieving the goals in the deterrence of crime and remedy the impact. Therefore, from the perspectives of collaborative and alternative strategies, this potential functional interaction between frameworks could be an effective way to improve corporate compliance in the global supply chain.
