Ruralization - moving back to the countryside
(2021) ASBM01 20211Department of Architecture and Built Environment
- Abstract
- After hundreds of years of urbanization a new trend is here. In Sweden, people are now leaving the big cities for a life in the countryside. How can urban designers work with rural areas and how do we do urban design in a rural way? This thesis investigates rural design in a Swedish village called Björkvik.
