Although people are more interested in sustainable consumption and consumer intentions are mainly positive, they often do not translate to purchasing behaviours. Existing empirical research and theory suggest that there exists an ethical intention-behaviour gap that continues to frustrate various industries and scholars. The aim of this thesis is to examine the factors that affect and influence the consumer decision-making process on sustainable products and electric motorcycle adoption. The empirical research builds on a survey with a sample of 310 Vietnamese consumers, using a quantitative method. The findings highlight that income is not found to affect the intention-behaviour gap, while perceived product unavailability and price sensitivity have a negative correlation with green consumption intention. Both scholars and marketers can base on these findings to increase the intention towards green consumption to promote green products. (Less)
