In order to answer the research question, semi-structured interviews have been used and the results have been analyzed by the help of theories of implementation, local bureaucrats, social ties and cooperation. The results show that there is an understandning among the respondents (teachers) that teachers have an important role in the work against gang crime and there is a willingness to implement crime prevention measues but this cannot always be implemented due to lack of resources.
