The analysis revealed how these perspectives vary between professionals from different organisations: psychiatry, school and NGOs. The professionals' statements reflected a few prior research studies in being certain that childhood bullying can result in mental illnesses if it goes untreated. The varying perspectives on the reasons for and ways out of bullying were also reflected in different working methods; from individualized psychiatric treatment, mainly in psychiatry, to group-oriented anti-bullying methods, mainly at school. Another result of this study showed a lack of resources in the work against bullying in school and cooperative challenges between school, psychiatry and other organizations. (Less)
