- Abstract
- To achieve effective product development with the help of computer-aided engineering,
accurate material models are of importance to make well-motivated predictions regarding
structural properties. Haldex AB produce, among other products, brakes for heavy
vehicles. Finite element simulations are well incorporated in the development of the

- Material properties at two locations from a Haldex brake caliper has been investigated by fully reversed cyclic fatigue testing. This has been performed to produce material models that can be used in finite element simulations.
