- Abstract
- The purpose of the study has been to seek an in-depth understanding of how stress manifests itself in the work situation for social workers in child welfare services. Through a qualitative method and interviews conducted on 4 social workers, the empirical material has been collected. The analysis has then been made based on which stress factors and strategies that can be interpreted. The results from the analysis showed a strong connection between their perceived work situation in relation to lack of recovery, high workload, and the impact of social support.
