The design and brief is also based on analysing queer critique of the event Queer Kallis at Ribersborgs Kallbadhus and an analasys of the bathhouse’ spatial configuration. The process of building and testing the mobile sauna shows, among other things, the value of collaboration and participatory processes to create inclusive spaces, continuity as a factor in building community as well as some opportunities and challenges with self-building and combining the role of architect and of builder.
