- Abstract
- The perspective from children is often overlooked in urban planning. This is partly because children are hard to reach in the often used citizen council. Since the Convention on the Rights of the Child has become Swedish law the interest of children is more important than ever before. Therefore, this study examines how the thoughts from children can be collected in better ways. The study uses interviews with children as a method to grasp their views. Documentation with guidelines of urban planning and interviews with city planners have been executed to get another point of view on how to involve children.
