- With increased urbanization into cities and with densification as a strategy, it puts pressure on the planning of socially important functions. One of the most important functions is that people need to transport themselves to get to work, education and other necessary activities. In the past, the car has largely shaped society and people's travel habits, which has burdened the environment but has also created social exclusions. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of the city of Malmö in the planning of socially sustainable transport systems in Norra Sorgenfri to see how social sustainability is treated in policy documents.
