- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to elaborate on the role of self-leadership from a middle manager's perspective in HGFs in order to contribute valuable insights to existing literature and HGFs that practice self-leadership.
A qualitative study with an abductive approach has been conducted. The empirical material has been gathered through eight semi-structured interviews with middle managers from the organization. The study has been based on a social constructionist perspective.
Self-leadership is perceived similarly by the middle managers, in a way that aligns with the current literature on the topic.
