The comparison between Danish inuits and Swedish sámi from a democratic perspective is not widely researched, making this essay important regarding Sweden and Denmark’s democratic treatment of their native population. The results show a democratic shortfall regarding native populations in Sweden and Denmark. Both countries have provided legal rights for its native population, but some social injustice is still present, especially in Denmark. (Less)
