- Personligt uttryck har alltid varit viktigt för oss när vi sjunger och som blivande sånglärare vill vi att arbetet med personligt uttryck ska bli en naturlig del av vår egen sångundervisning. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka begreppet personligt uttryck ur ett sånglärarperspektiv för att ta reda på hur sånglärare tolkar och beskriver sitt arbete med begreppet på gymnasiet. Vi genomförde fem semistrukturerade intervjuer och resultatet visar att samtliga informanter är överens om att personligt uttryck handlar om att göra musiken till sin egen. Fler aspekter av personligt uttryck tas upp och i dessa kan vi urskilja två huvuddrag, dels att personligt uttryck handlar om något fysiologiskt och anatomiskt, dels att det handlar om något... Informanternas beskrivningar av arbetet med personligt uttryck inkluderar även arbete med musikaliska byggstenar och interpretation. Läraren har en viktig roll i arbetet med personligt uttryck och en slutsats vi kan dra är att arbetet gynnas av en öppen dialog kring personligt uttryck, både lärare och elev emellan och i lärarlagen. Vi tror att samtal kring personligt uttryck kan fungera som ett verktyg för att förstå och vidga synen på begreppet. Det kan även hjälpa lärare att undvika att styra eleven åt ett visst håll och att kunna göra en mer rättvis bedömning av personligt uttryck i undervisningen. (Less)

We believe that conversations about personal expression can serve as a tool to understand and broaden the view of the concept.
