- Forskningsfrågor: Hur har tillitsbaserad styrning och ledning tillämpats i praktiken i en
svensk gymnasieskola? Vilka upplevelser har de anställda på skolan av tillitsbaserad styrning
och ledning och vad det har medfört i verksamheten?
Syfte: Undersöka hur tillitsbaserad styrning och ledning kan tillämpas i praktiken i en svensk
gymnasieskola och vilka upplevelser de anställda på skolan har av användningen av
tillitsbaserad styrning och ledning.
Metod: För att besvara syftet genomfördes en enkät som delgavs alla 268 heltidsanställda på
skolan, samt en intervju med skolans rektor och två intervjuer med två olika lärare på skolan.
Empirin analyserades sedan med hjälp av valda teorier.

Teoretiska perspektiv: Den teoretiska basen som använts för att analysera datan som
framkom i undersökningen är framför allt Louise Bringselius definition av tillitsbaserad
styrning och ledning. För att rama in och utveckla denna teori har även en kombination av
agentteori, Management Control Systems Package, NPM och en modell för tillit använts.
Resultat: Respondenterna har en övergripande positiv inställning till tillitsbaserad styrning
och ledning och det framkommer flera exempel på hur förhållningssättet är positivt för de
anställda inom organisationen. Samtidigt framgår det att det finns ett behov av att ytterligare
förtydliga vad tillitsbaserad styrning och ledning innebär, samt tydligare ramar i olika
sammanhang för att stödja medarbetarna i deras dagliga arbete.
Slutsats: Det finns indikationer på att tillitsbaserad styrning och ledning har en positiv effekt
på skolans verksamhet, det behövs dock mer studier för att kunna generalisera resultaten. (Less) - Abstract

frameworks in various contexts to support employees in their daily work.
Conclusions: There are indications that trust-based governance has a positive effect on the
school, although more studies are needed in order to generalize the results. (Less)
