Methodology: The study is of a qualitative nature and has employed criteria based purposive

study´s purpose.
Theoretical perspectives: The Study takes its theoretical base from the Strategic Alignment
Model and Technology Acceptance Model from the strategy field and the socio-technical
perspective for AI and Ethics.
Result: This thesis found the strategic integration, secure deployment, and workforce impact
of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various organizations. Key findings reveal that AI is
deemed essential for maintaining competitive advantage and is influenced by cultural factors
at multiple organizational levels. Secure deployment is crucial, with emphasis on ethical
alignment, data security, and governance to mitigate AI over-dependence and biases. The
impact on the workforce suggests a shift in job roles and the emergence of new competencies,
emphasizing the need for technical and interdisciplinary skills. Collectively, these insights
point to the strategic value of AI while highlighting the challenges and adjustments required
for its responsible implementation in the workplace.
Conclusions: The findings from the interviews highlight AI's impact on strategic planning,
ethical governance, and workforce dynamics, emphasizing the need for a balance between
operational efficiency and preserving organizational culture and values. Key challenges
addressed include secure AI deployment, data integrity, and transparency. The study also
stresses the significance of AI on job roles and the necessity for strategic workforce training.
Merging empirical findings with literature, it advocates for a strategic and ethical AI
framework aligned with social values and human-centric development. This research
contributes to understanding AI implementation in businesses, emphasizing the integration of
ethical and strategic aspects in AI strategies. (Less)
