- Studien undersöker på vilket sätt pedagoger och barn i förskolan kommunicerar kring musik. Syftet med undersökningen är att ta reda på vilka ord och begrepp som används i musikarbetet på förskolan och primärt i sångsamlingen och hur sångsamlingen organiseras. Genomförandet av studien utgår från två olika sätt att samla in data, observationer och kvalitativa intervjuer. Sångsamlingarna på förskolan observeras och de pedagoger som leder sångsamlingen deltar också i de kvalitativa intervjuerna.
Resultatet visar att sångsamlingarnas funktion i förskolan har ett bredare innehåll än enbart sång och musik. Pedagogerna är skickliga på att fånga upp och bekräfta barnens språkliga initiativ och deras frågor och funderingar utifrån en bred... Studiens pedagoger är alla kompetenta inom gitarrspel och sång men har inte byggt upp sitt musikaliska kunnande och självförtroende under sin utbildning eller i sitt arbete på förskolan. Hos barnen sker det ett musikaliskt lärande i både sångsamlingen och i förskolans övriga aktiviteter men pedagogerna är inte alltid medvetna om detta eller har inte vokabulären för att kunna beskriva och visa på barnens musikaliska bildning och utveckling. The pedagogues in the study are all competent in guitar playing and singing but have not built up their musical knowledge and confidence during their education or in their work at the preschool. The children’s musical learning takes place in both the Singing time and in the preschool's other activities, but the pedagogues are not always aware of this or do not have the language for how to describe the children's musical education and development (Less)
