Automatisering av kalibreringsförfarande för momentgivare

- Abstract
- When using measurement equipment, it is not only important to use the right equipment for the job, but to also make sure that it is measuring correctly. Electronic devices, as well as mechanical devices, all deteriorate over time. This leads to a need for calibration at a regular interval. By calibrating a measurement device
by comparing its measurements to a verified reference device, it is possible to (within a specific tolerance) make sure that the measured values are true to reality.
This thesis focuses on automating the calibration and verification of torque measurement devices at BorgWarner’s testing lab in Landskrona. During the process of calibrating a measurement device, there is a specific set of instructions for every device... This thesis focuses on automating the calibration and verification of torque measurement devices at BorgWarner’s testing lab in Landskrona. During the process of calibrating a measurement device, there is a specific set of instructions for every device that needs to be closely followed. This, together with the need of having a high repeatability, implies that an automatic process would be the most suitable way to proceed (Less)
