- This thesis aims to examine the conflict of goals between the green industrialization and the rights and interests of the indigenous Sami people, with a particular focus on how the conflict manifests in consultations with the Sami people. These consultations are conducted under the Act on Consultation in Matters Concerning the Sami People, a central piece of legislation in this study. - This thesis aims to examine the conflict of goals between the green industrialization and the rights and interests of the indigenous Sami people, with a particular focus on how the conflict manifests in consultations with the Sami people. These consultations are conducted under the Act on Consultation in Matters Concerning the Sami People, a central piece of legislation in this study. In order to understand the conflict, the study is divided into two segments: one focusing on the scope of the Act in regards to green industrialization, and the other examining consultations that have been conducted in this context. Drawing on the theory of social constructivism, the thesis also highlights the power dynamics permeating the consultations and conflict. The study reveals that this conflict manifests in numerous ways during consultations between companies and the Sami people. Additionally, it underscores that current legislation fails to ensure consultations on matters related to the green industrialization that risks having a negative impact on the Sami people and their rights. This research contributes to a field of research that is important for shedding light on the threats to the Sami people in Sweden, and to prevent indigenous rights from being overshadowed and diminished for green industrialization. Dessa konsultationer genomförs i enlighet med lagen om konsultation i frågor som rör det samiska folket, en central lagstiftning i denna studie. - Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka målkonflikten mellan den gröna industrialiseringen och den samiska ursprungsbefolkningens rättigheter samt intressen, med särskilt fokus på hur konflikten manifesteras i konsultationer med samiska företrädare. Dessa konsultationer genomförs i enlighet med lagen om konsultation i frågor som rör det samiska folket, en central lagstiftning i denna studie. För att förstå målkonflikten är studien uppdelad i två segment: det första fokuserar på lagens omfattning i relation till den grön industrialisering, och det andra undersöker konsultationer som genomförts inom området. Därtill understryker studien att den nuvarande lagstiftningen misslyckas med att säkerställa konsultationer i ärenden som rör den gröna industrialiseringen, och som riskerar att ha en negativ inverkan på samerna och deras rättigheter. Denna uppsats bidrar till ett forskningsfält som är viktigt för att belysa hoten mot samer i Sverige, och förhindra att urfolksrättigheter överskuggas samt förringas för den gröna industrialiseringen.
