- Abstract
- This study aimed to examine and analyze how social workers perceive the new Social Service Act and its ambition to reduce individual needs evaluations. The new Social Service Act also includes increased access to receive social support without social workers’ decision-making. The study aims to generate an understanding of social workers' experiences regarding their professional practice related to individual needs evaluations. The study has a qualitative approach, including six semi-structured interviews with Social Workers from the South of Sweden.
