A qualitative study was conducted, comprising six semi-structured interviews within Swedish manufacturers, guided by the theoretical lenses of Service-Dominant Logic and Dynamic Capabilities. Findings highlight digital infrastructure readiness, and strategic partnerships as key enablers, while limited resources, digital skill gaps, and fragmented support ecosystems were identified as barriers, as the interplay between internal capabilities and external conditions shapes transformation outcomes. This study extends existing literature on SMEs digital transformation and servitization, offering actionable insights for managers aiming to foster servitization-driven innovation. (Less)
