Abstract (Swedish)
(More)

(Less)
Abstract
This study aims to explore how Nonviolent Communication (NVC) can contribute to a healthier work environment, and to identify factors that influence the possibilities of a successful implementation. The study is based on eight semi structured interviews involving individuals who actively apply NVC at their place of work. The data was thematically analysed from a critical-realistic perspective.
The results indicate that NVC can enhance self-awareness, empathy, and clarity in communication. According to the informants, these qualities support individual well-being and workplace climate, by preventing large scale conflicts, and contribute to a healthier workplace environment by fostering connections.
Furthermore, the study suggests... (More)

Furthermore, the study suggests complementing NVC with a norm-critical perspective into the implementation of NVC, particularly in organisational contexts, to ensure inclusivity and sustainability. (Less)
