(2025) BUSN09 20251Department of Business Administration
- Abstract
- The purpose of this thesis is to apply Value Network Theory (VNT) to the understanding of customer integration and co-creation in Public Transport Authorities (PTAs). It aims to identify key challenges and opportunities in this shift, and to provide deeper insights into how PTAs, such as Skånetrafiken and SL, can strategically transition from a traditional value chain model to a more customer-inclusive and network-centric model.
To fulfill the purpose of this thesis, a qualitative abductive approach was chosen, utilizing a multiple case study of Skånetrafiken and SL. Data was collected through nine semi-structured interviews with respondents from various departments.
